FREE from Connect2Texas provider Amon Carter Museum of American Art - Making It Work!

Delve into the industrious side of America's history! Using photographs from the feature photography exhibition Work, explore how hardworking Americans put their talents, training, and determination to work. Livelihoods include a Forty-Niner, grape picker, mayor, miners, cowboys, painters, newsboys, bakers, perfumer, and sausage maker, among others. Art, ELAR, and social studies teachers and classroom and home school educators are encouraged to attend, although others may benefit.

Participants will receive digital images of the art objects used with the instructional activities discussed in the workshop.
