Britannica for Elementary Schools

Need help integrating technology into your classroom? Want to show
students how to get answers to their questions, whether at school or at
home? Looking for ways to use the computer with Kindergarten classes?
Come join us for a hands-on INFOhio IVDL training workshop on Britannica
Online School Edition, with a special focus on elementary resources, starting
with new online activities for PreKindergarten-2nd grade students.
Elementary teachers and librarians are invited to this workshop where we
will explore Britannica's collection of reference materials, maps and photos,
recommended Internet sites, and current magazine articles, plus an
expanded collection of video and media content for online viewing or
download. Britannica includes teacher resources like the Ohio Academic
Content Standards and student activities for Reading, Writing, Math,
History and Science. New elementary-level Spanish resources will also be
covered. Integrate technology at your school with Britannica Online School
Edition!

integrate technology into your classroom? Want to show students how to get
answers to their questions, whether at school or at home? Come join us for a

Edition, focused on middle/junior high school and high school materials and
tools. Middle/Junior High and High School teachers and librarians are
invited to this workshop where we will explore Britannica's collection of
reference materials (in Spanish too!), maps and photos, Internet sites,
magazine articles, and primary source documents, plus an expanded collection
of video and media content for online viewing or download. The workshop will
also explore Britannica’s new Workspace tool that lets students and
teachers store their own research materials online. Britannica includes
teacher resources like the Ohio Academic Content Standards and student
activities for Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies subjects.
