Digital Storytelling and Creating Dynamic Presentations with Digital Photos

Digital story telling is a powerful tool for students and educators to enhance their curriculum through student created video stories and digital photography. Using FREE software, teachers and students can create media rich presentations. Teachers participating in this session will be provided a follow-up opportunity with their students.

The Lorain County Distance Learning Consortium (LCDLC) and the Northern Ohio Research & Training Technology Hub (NORT²H) is offering technology professional development over videoconferencing. The Technology Toolbox offerings for March and April are listed below. If you would like to sign up one of your schools please contact Paul Hieronymus at Phiero@leeca.org. Sessions run a hour in length and cost $50.00 per site

INFOhio's SchoolRooms™ provides a single, student-friendly interface to high-quality content from school library catalogs, online databases, 3 million “Best of Web” teacher-selected Web pages as well as statewide digital resources. Content is presented in virtual rooms that help students discover information, provide educators with access to quality materials and enable parents to find appropriate resources for improving their children’s education. This introduction to SchoolRooms includes student, parent and teacher resources, as well as password information for you to share with your faculty, parent groups and students.
