Technology Toolbox To Thinkfinity and Beyond! - So Many Classroom Resources for Free


Thinkfinity is a FREE web portal for educators aligned to national standards with lessons and materials that teachers can use to enhance their instruction. Thinkfinity is currently working in partnership with the Ohio Resource Center. Using the portal, classroom teachers find school-appropriate websites and save planning time.

MVESC Upcoming Professional Development


I wanted to let everyone know of a few upcoming Professional Development sessions available in January.  If you have a school interested, you may register online, or call/email me for assistance.  All connections are $75.00 per site (no maximum participant limit), and CEU’s will be created FREE of charge.  As always- MVESC Teacher Tuesday sessions are free to MVESC IVDL members.  Please see below for a list of topics and deadlines.

Topic: “Smart Teaching” using SMART BOARDS

Do you have a new Smart Board but haven’t had time to learn how to use it effectively? Learn the fundamentals of Smart Boards along with strategies to make your work a little easier and classroom learning more interactive and enjoyable for your students.  Resources and tips will be shared for immediate use in the classroom.

The Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession were created to guide teachers as they reflect upon and improve their effectiveness throughout their careers. These standards serve as an important tool for teachers as they consider their growth and development in the profession. Attend this session to have conversations around the standards that connect with the Focus of Teaching and Learning, The Conditions for Teaching and Learning and Teaching as a profession. Learn how teachers can self-reflect on all seven standards.
