Science Online: Explore INFOhio's New Science Resource
November 18, 2008, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Come and join INFOhio as we explore our new science database, Science Online. From forensic science to global warming, from tsunamis to invasive species, Facts on File's Science Online offers relevant information for today's students. With diagrams, experiments, news articles, a science dictionary and focus sections in 10 science areas, Science Online provides information defined by topics and terms, images and videos, experiments, biographies and news articles. This session will provide applications for librarians and teachers using Science Online to enhance and develop student research skills. Join us for this informative session to foster student understanding of today's science in an ever-changing world.The session presenter is Connie Evans, New Philadelphia High School Library Media Specialist.
