Technology Toolbox - You Did that with Google

You did that with Google is a fun and interactive look at the internet’s most popular search engine. In this one hour videoconference educators will get an overview and the educational uses of the many different applications available for free from Google. During this session you will create your own custom search engine, make a website, fly around the world, design 3-D images, develop a photo gallery, start a blog post and share documents and chat as an avatar in a virtual community without having to purchase any software. Does this sound too good to be true?

Google has a fantastic portal for educators that provide them with resources that they can use right away without having to be a tech geek. Most of the programs only require access to the internet to use. These programs provide classroom teachers with the tools needed for student or professional collaboration, increased communication and resources to enhance student learning. Join Nort2h for a closer look at Google and how you can take your curriculum to the next level using these free online resources.
