JAZZING Up your Curriculum with Videoconferencing!!


Join leaders in K-12 videoconferencing to learn structures and templates for student projects and collaborations.  This class is team taught with VC colleagues in Michigan, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Texas, and Wales UK.  Guest speakers each day will share additional engaging uses of videconferencing.  Team up with other teachers to creat a VC project for next year.  Along the way, learn about and use other collaborative technologies such as blogs, wikis, Flickr, Google Docs, Skype and Twitter.

Expedition Northwest

Teachers will interact with OMSI Educators and become familiar with selected Expedition Northwest (XNW) activities through hands-on experience and will be introduced to the rest of the activities by the Educators who developed them. Registration and access to XNW on-line resources will also be accomplished.

This program is by request. 

We offer Professional Development Packages comprised of 7 sessions via live interactive video conferencing or webinar. These include 7 one-hour session, each with a different INK author. Each author presents an exciting overview of his or her expertise, and offers substantive and entertaining ways the teacher can link his or her titles to the subjects the teacher is interested to include in the curriculum.


Price: $60.00 per attendee per session. Therefore the total fee per persons for all 7 sessions would be $420.00.


We also offer classroom visits to the professional development sessions above for $500 per site (we can give simultaneous presentations at more than one site). The number of students is limited only by the size of the room.


We offer various combinations of professional development packages and classroom visits, depending on your needs and interests but these are the basics.
