DOCS Teach from the National Archives

Ever wanted be like a museum content provider and use their vast
resources in your lessons? Now you can with DOCS Teach! This new
online program from the National Archives allows classroom teachers to
pull resources from the National Archives to use with their lessons.
Join the staff from the National Archives in Washington DC as they
share this great resource for classroom teachers.

Addressing the New Math Standards with Singapore and Ainsworth StrategiesMathematic Strategies taken from the works of; M. Burns, M. Cook, L. Ainsworth, and Singapore Mathematics can easily be incorporated into your regular mathematics instruction. Several examples will be given to show you how to use movement, visuals and fluency aides that address some problem areas.

Program Format:
1. Introduction and information about concept
2. Examples and discussion of application
3. Discussions on why to use the strategy or technology covered in the connection
4. Debrief and summarizing remarks by group and facilitator.
