Classroom Coaching to Improve Instruction

Classroom Coaching is a process that requires a sound understanding of quality instruction and classroom management techniques. Coaches will learn the procedure for effective observations, the form of data collection needed for feedback, and skills to facilitate an effective feedback discussion following the observation that leads to quality changes in instruction and/or management of the classroom.

Objectives
Participants will:
-Learn how to work as a classroom instructional coach to provide observation feedback to improve instruction.
-Understand the difference between feedback and criticism.
