From Pearl Harbor to Tokyo Bay: World War II in the Pacific TEACHER WORKSHOP

The National WWII Museum, "America's National World War II Museum," explores the lesser known theater of World War II: the Pacific. Topics include geography, strategy, battles, and chronology. Receive classroom-ready lesson plans and discuss teaching strategies with the museum's education staff.

Program Format

Museum education staff will review the materials in the workshop packet, lead teachers through several lesson plans, and present video of the war in the Pacific, including veterans' oral histories. Teachers will debate several discussion questions meant to show students the relevance of this history to their lives.

Cost per Site: $200.00
