FREE Lesson Preview: IMMIGRATION & CULTURE LESSONS


University Circle Interactive Cleveland and its member content providers are offering a series of FREE VIDEOCONFERENCE themed lesson preview showcases for teachers from December, 2007 - May, 2008. Content providers include: The Western Reserve Historical Society, The Cleveland Museum of Art, The Cleveland Institute of Music, The Cleveland Museum of Natural History and The Temple Tifereth Israel.

The next Showcase Offering is:
March 6 @ 12:00 pm & 4:00 pm (EST)– IMMIGRATION & CULTURE LESSONS (Grades 4-9)
Western Reserve Historical Society – Waves of ImmigrationCleveland Museum of Art – Diversity, Neighborhoods and Urban IssuesCleveland Institute of Music – Musical Geography of America Attend on your own as a Distance Learning or Tech Coordinator or bring a group of teachers, administrators or parents to learn about the programs we have to offer for your students. With advance planning, we can also offer this showcase for a scheduled meeting, teacher in-service program or conference.To register for one or all of these sessions, contact Sandy Kreisman at (216) 707-5021 or skreisman@universitycircle.org. The format for these showcases are casual and will include an overview of the topic and introduction to lessons that fit each theme/content area. Video clips will be shown when appropriate and teacher materials shared. There will be time for questions and each participant will receive a lesson catalog in advance.
