Scientific Ways of Knowing and Scientific Inquiry
Educators will learn how to equip students to think like scientists. Using the scientific method, we'll investigate some ways to use activities to help students experience and learn the standards. Identifying meaningful questions, generating hypotheses with testing ideas will all be examined. We'll look at processes to facilitate student generated exploration. This session will address assisting students in developing ways to communicate their results and conclusions. Participants will also look at helpful Internet sources for additional materials and ideas.
